Intro to Punch Needle: Coasters

Join Tyler (@tyler.makes.things) in making a punch needle coaster!

During the Intro to Punch Needle workshop, you will learn about the fundamentals of punch needling and the rich history behind this traditional North American fiber craft. Your instructor will guide you through the process of creating a unique piece of fiber art on a 6-inch embroidery hoop.

Once you've finished your project, you can choose to turn it into a mug rug (coaster), an iron-on patch, or hang it on your wall for display. You'll have the option to select from different colors of yarn and a variety of unique patterns created by the instructor, or you can create your own design.

The patterns range from simple to complex, so there is something for everyone. By the end of the workshop, you'll have a one-of-a-kind piece of fiber art that you can take home and enjoy.
