DIY Day Camp: Flower Power!

Attention to all the crafty kids out there! Relume is thrilled to announce our first-ever summer camp series, designed to ignite creativity, teach new skills, and, most importantly, have a blast while doing it. Join us for an unforgettable summer filled with exciting projects, imaginative exploration, and endless fun!

A camp week is Monday-Thursday, with each session being from 9 am to 3 pm. There are three different camps people can sign up for- flower power, accessories, and fiber arts camp. We accept ages 9-14 for all camps and kids will have the option to attend the full week or just individual days. A full camp week costs $300 and each individual day costs $90. 

Small snacks and water will be provided, but students will be expected to bring their lunch each day. 

Here is the itinerary and the dates for DIY Day Camp: Flower Power- 

(Session 1: July 8th-July 11th, Session 2: August 5th-August 8th)

• Day 1- kids will learn about the flower pressing process, and have the chance to go pick leaves and flowers to press themselves. We will also be making some forever flowers out of pipe cleaners!

• Day 2- We will be embracing the world of miniatures and make our own fairy gardens! Students will also learn how to paint abstract watercolor florals, taught by Heather Duncan Art. 

• Day 3- This day is all about wearable art. We will be making flower crowns and learning how to flower pound fabric. We will provide bandanas for this activity, but kids are welcome to bring in other fabric they would like to pound a flower design onto. 

• Day 4- We will be bringing back the pressed flowers from day one to make beautiful art pieces with the pressed flowers. We will end the day and the week by making bouquets to take home.
