Come learn about natural dyes and experience their magic yourself! Taught by Fatima Knits, dye sessions act as an interactive introduction to natural dye. Every dye session is uniquely tailored to each group and may change seasonally due to the availability of natural dye materials. Each participant will work with 27x27 cotton bandanas to learn and practice a variety of dye techniques. The color that will be used for this class will be Cochineal which is a bright pink made from invasive insects that appear on cacti.Β
