Pet Portrait Workshop

Learn how to paint your pet in a beginner-friendly, fun watercolor class! You will receive a hand-drawn outline of your pet, so you can focus on the painting process! You will start with a basic watercolor exercise, so if you've never painted with watercolors before (or it's been a while), no worries! The instructor, Alexandra Schmeling, is a Virginia-based artist specializing in watercolor pet portraits for over 5 years. She will guide you step-by-step to complete your pet portrait and help you improve your watercolor technique, no matter what level you are at. You will leave the class with your completed painting, a paint palette, brushes, and new pet-owning friends!

At least 2 days before class, please email Alex at hello@alexandraschmeling.com with a clear, well-lit photo of your pet, preferably taken at their level.
